Five Favorite Flashback Episodes

Robin Sparkles | How I Met Your Mother
Though you could really count the entirety of How I Met Your Mother as a flashback, the Robin Sparkles episodes are my favorite. I would love to go to the mall or build sandcastles in the sand with her.

Dear Richard and Emily | Gilmore Girls
Whenever we got to see young!Lorelai I was happy. Not just for the awesome style, but it was nice to see how Lorelai grew up. They did an amazing job at casting young!Lorelai and her snark and attitude was just like older!Lorelai.

Young Shawn Spencer | Psych
I love that every episode of Psych starts out with a flashback to Shawn’s life with his dad. Plus, the flashback is almost always relevant to the story. Plus, the kid(s) who plays young!Shawn is(are) adorable.

Where and When | Warehouse 13
Did you think that Warehouse wouldn’t be mentioned? THINK AGAIN! I actually nearly forgot about this episode because it’s not the typical flashback. This is one where Pete and Myka go back in the past. I love episodes where they go back to the past, and the main characters get to live those lives, in this case, they get to live the lives of fellow warehouse agents from back in the 60s.

The Parts in the Sum of the Whole | Bones
Of all the episodes of Bones I had watched, this was the one I was the most excited for. Not only because it was the 100th episode, but also because in the episode we got to see Booth and Brennan’s first case together. The one that caused her to flee for a few months only to come back and we start at season 1.
What are some of your favorite Flashback episodes?
I love Richard and Emily, and young Shawn:) Here is my list: http://elinsbookishworld.blogspot.no/2012/10/fantastic-five-friday-five-favorite.html
I loved the Gilmore Girls flashback episode as well and I agree they did a great job at casting younger Lorelai. I really love all the opeining flashbacks in psych as well and I also loved that Pushing Dasies had opening flashbacks like that as well.
