[Recap/Review] Castle` An Embarrassment of Bitches

RECAP
A popular reality TV star is the key to an investigation involving the death of a world-renowned dog whisperer. A famous therapist is contacted after the team discovers that one of her clients was a witness to the murder (from TV.com).

PLOT
One thing I have to give Castle credit for is that when they have a very emotional and deep episode, they normally follow it with a light and funny episode. That’s what I’m going to classify this episode as. It’s a light, funny filler episode before the big Noir themed episode coming up. It wasn’t bad, just light. There was a lot of fun Castle/Beckett moments, but the case itself was a bit lack luster.

GUEST STARS
Hilarie Burton (Kay Cappuccio)- I wasn’t sure how well Hilarie would do in the airhead kind of role. In her roles on One Tree Hill and White Collar, she plays a much different character. I actually really liked her playing the talentless heiress. What sold her in this role for me was the change in her voice, that and she made me laugh.

Justin Hartley (Reggie Starr)- GREEN ARROW!!!! This episode made me miss Smallville. Although, it was nice to see Justin in something that wasn’t a green suit, it was really sad that he only had a few lines. He almost felt like that character they just pin the murder on at the end when they run out of film. Maybe, I had my hopes up a little too high for this episode, or at least for this character.

QUOTES

Castle: Dog Whisperer? Check. People Whisperer? Not so much.

Paparazzi: Hey, that’s not Jason Bateman.

This is funny because Castle (and Nathan Fillion) have been mistaken for Jason Bateman before.

Castle: Don’t miss me too much. The dog. Not you.
