“If You Had the Chance to Change your Fate… Would You?” — Brave Trailer

It took me way too long to watch this new trailer for Brave. When Disney announced their new movie with Pixar, I was a bit weary. I love Disney as much as the next person. But I’m a fan of the classics. If they want to make another princess movie, I want it to be 2D and hand drawn (I REALLY love Rapunzel, don’t get me wrong). And in all honesty, if they are going to do another computer generated princess movie, I don’t want Pixar to be a part of it.

Then I saw the first trailer for this movie. My attitude completely changed. As someone who is completely obsessed with celtic mythology, the idea was right up my alley. With this new trailer, I’m bouncing up and down with excitement.

Favorite Points of the Trailer

  1. We see a bit more of Merida and her family.
  2. An introduction to the magic in the movie.
  3. At about 1:54, we get to hear the celtic music being incorporated in the movie.
  4. The scenery. SO MANY PRETTY LANDSCAPES!!!!
  5. Merida. Just more of Merida and her awesomeness.
This trailer does a great job at showing us the movie but not giving away big plot points. It’s one of the few trailers that doesn’t give away the WHOLE movie in the two minute trailer.

Brave comes into theaters on June 22.

Eureka, Season 4.5 Recap

Eureka returns tonight with the final episodes of the series. This is going to to make me cry. Watching the most recent season realizing that it’s all ending this year is making me emotional enough.

Here’s my recap for season 4.5 of Eureka. I know what you’re thinking, but the way that SyFy did season 4 of Eureka was kind of crazy. They aired the first ten episodes in the summer of 2010, and then aired the last ten episodes almost a year later in 2011. So I’m just going to recap what happened in season 4.5.

Beware, spoilers.

Five Characters I’ve Become Too Attached Too (TV & Movies)

This idea came from FireFerrets and Meg. I can’t think of a topic more suited for me. *gets too emotionally involved in her tv shows*

It was definetly more difficult to narrow down than I thought it would be.

Indulge Your Earholes: CastleCast!

Above logo designed by me for the CastleCast cafepress store.

So considering that Castle wasn’t new last night, I’ve decided to post and article about one of my favorite Castle oriented things (that sort of counts, right?). You’ve seen me post links to it after every recap and review I do of Castle. I will continue to do so, because it is one the greatest Castle things ever.

Here’s the thing, I’ve been wanting to post a review for them on iTunes, but as I am one of the only people in the universe that doesn’t OWN iTunes(or any Apple product), I haven’t been able to. So I hope this counts. (:

A little over a year ago, if you had asked me if I listened to any podcasts, I would have snorted and turned a heel and walked away. I kind of detested the idea of listening to people talk. It just didn’t interest me. All of the podcasts I had tried to listen to just bored me and I ended up turning them off half way through. CastleCast was the exception.

Five Favorite Sidekicks from TV and Movies

The term “sidekick” always has a bit of negativity to it. Here are five sidekicks that break that cliche (in my opinion)
