[Fantastic Five Friday] Five Favorite Sidekicks from TV and Movies

inspired by Broke and Bookish’s Top Ten Tuesday

Here is how it works: It’ll be a weekly meme here at The Weekly Enthusiast. Each week I’ll post a new Fantastic Five list that I will answer here. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join, whether you have a TV/Film blog, book blog, personal blog. All I ask is that you link back to The Weekly Enthusiast on your own Fantastic Five list and comment on this post so that everyone can check out the other bloggers lists.

If you don’t have a blog, leave your answers in the comments and get to know other fellow bloggers.

Five Favorite Sidekicks from TV and Movies

The term “sidekick” always has a bit of negativity to it. Here are five sidekicks that break that cliche (in my opinion)

lord of the rings sam Pictures, Images and Photos
Samwise Gamgee | Lord of the Rings
“Then let us be rid of it! Once and for all! Come on, Mr. Frodo. I can’t carry it for you… but I can carry you! Come on! “

Sookie St. James | Gilmore Girls
“Oh, my goodness. Your a movie star! I’m serious. At some point tonight, walk down a flight of stairs. Movie stars always walk down staircases.”

Ron Weasley | Harry Potter
“Spiders… the spiders… they want me to tap-dance. And I don’t want to tap-dance!”

Morgan Grimes | Chuck
“You’re going to fire me, aren’t you? My God, this is even worse than when I got canned from Underpants Etc. “

Dr. Lance Sweets | Bones
“Do I really have to tell you that dying is not a healthy response? “

Who are some of your favorite sidekicks?

  1. I came across your blog courtesy of Meg, and just wanted to say how much I’ve been enjoying your Fantastic Five Fridays–am quite tempted to join in, actually!

Loving your selection this week, particularly of Sweets!
