[Fantastic Five Friday] Five Guilty Pleasure Movies

inspired by Broke and Bookish’s Top Ten Tuesday

Here is how it works: It’ll be a weekly meme here at The Weekly Enthusiast. Each week I’ll post a new Fantastic Five list that I will answer here. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join, whether you have a TV/Film blog, book blog, personal blog. All I ask is that you link back to The Weekly Enthusiast on your own Fantastic Five list and comment on this post so that everyone can check out the other bloggers lists.

If you don’t have a blog, leave your answers in the comments and get to know other fellow bloggers.

Five Guilty Pleasure Movies

Everyone has guilty pleasure movies. Those movies that make you giggle to yourself when you admit that you’re watching them.

Buffy: The Vampire Slayer
Yes, the ORIGINAL movie. You know that movie that the series was based off of. The one with that character that, Joss was told, would never be a good main character. The one that kind of… BOMBED. It has Kristy Swanson, Donald Southerland and Luke Perry in it. What’s not to like? Plus, it’s JOSS!!!

She’s the Man
As a completely objective third-party, with no personal interest in the matter, this movie is kind of awesome.

When In Rome.
Kristen Bell. Enough said.

The Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement.
Chris Pine. Enough said.

The Cinderella Story Trilogy
I highly recommend taking a day and watching all three of these movies. You’ll never get those hours back, but you’ll be happy in the moment.

What are your guilty pleasure movies?

  1. I used to work at a video store when I was in highschool and college. Let’s see if I can narrow it down to 5 lol
Grease 2: it has the song Cool Rider. Enough said.
Spice World: oh the cheese! I was, and still am, a huge Spice Girls fan.
Sleepover: I am still a teeny bopper at heart apparently lol
Short Circut: robot who has feelings trying to live.
Mighty Ducks 1-3: a lot of my childhood was spent watching minor league hockey. Plus Joshua Jackson was a cute kid 🙂
